I am a fan of Starbucks, but this location just seems to have it all wrong. The drive thru is always sooooo slow and they never seem to get my order right. I get the same thing every time, but it is always made so differently and sometimes it is so terrible I have to go back in and ask for it to be re-made. The inside always seems to have trash around it. With multiple people just standing around behind the counter, you think someone would take a minute to sweep it up or wipe down the tables. Speaking of multiple people- seriously, if you're going to have so many people working, why does it take so long to get things made? I just don't understand.

Slowest Starbucks I've ever visited. I work near there and even when there's no one in the line, it can still take as long as 10 minutes to get your order. This morning, at 945a, it took almost 20 min to get a drip coffee and sandwich and the place was nearly empty.

This is definitely the Starbucks on the bottom rung of the ladder in Charleston. I suppose Im spoiled. The 2 locations, Houston Northcutt and Coleman in Mount Pleasant, have me spoiled, so really its their fault for providing superior CS. Although my visits to Starbucks have slimmed considerably in the past 6 months, I semi-like coming to this location because its one of the larger ones, and I have space to work without being elbow to elbow. There are only 2 people at this location who make my bev. the way I like every time. A dark skin short lady, and a very tall fella with a pony tail (Look out for them!). Outside of them, its always a miss. But even worse, far worse, is that the customer service is sub-par. When I approach the counter, I dont receive a "Hi, how are you", I get a "what can I get you". They're almost drone like. For me, customer service is always always always key. The staff at both aforementioned MP locations are beyond friendly. Every time, smiling and engaging...they know how to make and keep customers coming back to their locations. Starbucks is expensive as hell. I need better CS and a correct order for my buck; otherwise I may start hitting up DD before coming to this location to use their wifi.

I stop by regularly and without a doubt they are getting much better at working the drive thru. Great staff providing good customer service. However, for the last two days I have ordered the oatmeal with blue berries. The first time all the ingredients were included in the bag, but the oatmeal was a bit dry, so once at the office I added a bit of hot water. Today, some ingredients were missing and the oatmeal was so dry not even a bucket of hot water or milk could have made a difference. This is simply unacceptable. I have no choice, but to stop by to get my coffee simply because of the convenience of this location and accessibility with the drive-thru.,otherwise I would seriously consider not stopping by again. You guys need to step up the game!!

Sad slow service. It's a normal 8:30am, staffed with plenty (like 5 people) but the wait is so long. Not waiting to order, but waiting to get your drink. Nice new location, now with a drive thru. That seems to be the priority these days with Starbucks, they want to service drive thru more than walkins. But I like my coffee, so I'll return.

I wouldn't normally complain this way but after a long day, when you want to stop by the drive thru for a good cup of coffee on your way home, you get home to see your Tall was really a Short even though you paid otherwise. This was very disappointing. I was extremely excited when I heard this Starbucks location was moving and adding a drive thru but not when you are shorted to this extent. And sorry, you can't blame the foam dissipating in this case. Considering that you can make coffee at home, you pay a certain amount of money for a certain quality of product, service and standard. So although to some this might be an unnecessary rant, I believe it is because I'm almost positive that the Starbucks Franchisees would want their products held to a better standard than this. And that their customers leave feeling as though they received the best service, which unfortunately in this case I did not. With the addition of the drive thru it's possible that the staff, new and existing, just need some further training on that end.

Waring: I'm no Starbucks expert... Good work spot when it's not crowded. Table set up is cramped and wifi is a little slow. One the bright side, there is plenty of natural sunlight, decent music, and a patio with fans. Speaking customer service the other day a woman walked in trenched in sweat. She asked for a cup of water. The barista gave her a cup and said it would be a crime not to give you a cup on a day this hot. She expressed her gratitude because she walked to the bus stop and had to wait for it then walk some more when she got off. This warmed my heart! Sooo just pack your patience and relax. Smell the coffee :)

This is one of the busiest Starbucks I've ever experienced and the Barista's boast they are in fact the busiest in Charleston. Overall friendly staff my biggest gripe is when you attempt to order something that you have no clue is no longer "available" they won't make it. However if you use their order online app it's still available. Use the app if you see it on the menu and order it, they have to make it.

If your looking to get a quick coffee this is defiantly no the place there is always a 10 to 15 minutes wait going through the drive through if you go in to order your wait time is still the same. Your a fast food place I mean come one. Worst service I have ever gotten in my life! Also then never ask if you want a receipt through the drive through I always have to ask them for it! Get your shit together Starbucks!

Worst Starbucks location in my experience. It took 10 minutes to prepare an americano and a hot meal. They completely forgot to prepare what I ordered; I went back to the person that takes orders and asked about my order: she scrambled to find my order and found it. The hot meal was very dry and the americano was cold.

I have been coming to this starbucks very consistently since 2009 before THE MOVE. This is my favorite starbucks in the entire charleston area bc they always get my semi complex drink correct. I love the new location and convenience of the drive thru. The only criticism I have is there has been a influx of new hires who need a little more menu knowledge. I ordered my usual triple grande mocha marble macchiatto. Was charged the usual 5.80. When I got to the drive thru I was handed a tall beverage. I didn't have time to have it remade but did ask how I was being charged for a grande and I'm being given a tall and the answer I got was "I charged you for a tall I don't know how it came out to be the same price"

Three stars simply because it's a nicer, newer Starbucks but unfortunately they can't get an order correct to save their life. It was mellow and not crowded for a Starbucks and we didn't have a crazy or long order and they seemed to get 2 out of 3 drinks completely wrong. Let's get with the program people!

This is my go-to Starbucks, since it's conveniently located on the way to work with a right turn. I have hit or miss luck with the line length - sometimes it is empty and sometimes there are a ton of people waiting in the mornings. I've never walked in, but the baristas who handle the drive through are always very polite. As with many locations, if they are backed up, my drink will occasionally be wrong, but it's still drinkable so I just deal with it and move along. The location isn't really ideal since it's hard to get into the drive through if you are coming down Rivers towards Summerville (a lot of left turns), and the parking lot is just not really laid out well with the other businesses around there. My only big complain is that I will go in the morning and they are already sold out/ran out of items I order. Yes, I'm going at 9, but still! I've also had bad luck ordering seasonal drinks here, since other Starbucks will have them ready and this one won't be serving them yet (or they ran out already).

Time is precious and so is the quality of a drink you pay almost $5 for. More time is needed on frothing the milk. Especially if you are the only guest in there...

I usually do not complain about service because I worked at a Starbucks not long ago and I get it can be stressful. This was the worst visit I have ever had at any location. The staff was overwhelmed and under staffed. The quality of my beverage was awful. I ordered a simple iced quad espresso in the drive thru and after sitting for 30 minutes I decided to jump the drive thru and go inside. The man that took my order was friendly, but didn't seem to mind that the barista making the drinks was completely stressed and needed help. My drinks tasted awful and $7 later and a total of 40 minutes wasted I think I will never forget to drive past this Starbucks every time I visit the charleston area. I hope for the companies sake they hire more employees that can handle the flow of business or a better manager to help in times of need.

Why did they move to their present location? Parking is abundant IF you stop by early in the morning shortly after they open. Getting in and out of the parking lot is dangerous as you have to keep an eye out for entering traffic and traffic exiting the drive-through. Once inside, the noise echoes like a cavern. Service...not the best I've experienced at a Starbucks. Gone are the friendly and efficient workers who were at their previous location across the street. I find myself passing this place by on my way to the Starbucks on International Blvd. It's not worth the headaches.

Moving across the street to have a drive thru was the worst thing this Starbucks could have done. I have never seen a slower drive thru. I'm a former employee and there is no excuse to keep cars waiting this long, the employees need more training. My drink is always the way I order it, but the time involved almost makes the drink not worth the money.

Every time I come to this Starbucks it takes 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Whether you go in or go through the drive thru
